About Us
Who We Are
We are a congregation that is all about relationships. We value our relationship with God and seek to grow in that relationship through worship, prayer, and spending time together in God’s Word, the Bible.
We also value our relationships with one another. We desire to establish and build up strong “family-like” friendships with each other in the congregation. We do this through our fellowship, fun, and by being there for one another during the tough times of life.
Our Mission
Serving the Community, Sharing God’s Love, Growing His Kingdom
Our Beliefs
With the universal Christian Church, The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS) teaches and responds to the love of the Triune God: the Father, creator of all that exists; Jesus Christ, the Son, who became human to suffer and die for the sins of all human beings and to rise to life again in the ultimate victory over death and Satan; and the Holy Spirit, who creates faith through God’s Word and Sacraments. The three persons of the Trinity are coequal and coeternal, one God.

Being “Lutheran”
Our congregations accept and preach the Bible-based teachings of Martin Luther that inspired the reformation of the Christian Church in the 16th century. The teaching of Luther and the reformers can be summarized in three phrases: Grace alone, Faith alone, Scripture alone.
Grace Alone
God loves the people of the world, even though they are sinful, rebel against Him and do not deserve His love. He sent Jesus, His Son, to love the unlovable and save the ungodly.
Faith Alone
By His suffering and death as the substitute for all people of all time, Jesus purchased and won forgiveness and eternal life for them. Those who hear this Good News and believe it have the eternal life that it offers. God creates faith in Christ and gives people forgiveness through Him.
Scripture Alone
The Bible is God’s inerrant and infallible Word, in which He reveals His Law and His Gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ. It is the sole rule and norm for Christian doctrine.

Core Values
The Bible is the Word of God
We believe that the Bible is completely and entirely the very Word of God and serves as the foundation and guide for everything that we do as a congregation. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
Prayer
We believe that prayer is central to all aspects of worship, ministry, and activities of this church and all its members. (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
Growth in Faith
We believe that faith is something that is dynamic and needs to grow over time through the Holy Spirit’s power in Word and Sacrament. (Eph. 4:11-13)
Love/Caring
We believe that because God loves us, we are empowered to love and care for one another. (1 John 3:16-18)
Fellowship and Family
We desire to establish a fellowship among our members that develops Christ-centered relationships that foster family-like bonds. (1 Corinthians 12:12-26)
Children
We believe that all children are precious to God and they should be taught God’s Word from an early age so that they might know God and follow Him for the rest of their lives. (Matthew 19:14)
Community Service
We believe loving relationships should be developed with local community members through service activities undertaken with community groups. Through this process we can serve God and gain opportunities to share the Gospel by caring for others. (Luke 10:30-37)
